About This Seminar

In Foundations 3, we bring your training full circle by addressing the lower half of the body — where structural imbalance, chronic pain, and mobility issues often begin. Gain the skills to confidently treat sciatica, hip and low back pain, plantar fasciitis, and athletic injuries involving the hamstrings, calves, and shins.

In Foundations 3, you will:

Address the lumbar and gluteal region — with in-depth needling of quadratus lumborum, iliopsoas, piriformis, and gluteal muscles — key drivers of back pain, sciatica, and hip dysfunction.

Treat the hip and thigh — including IT band syndrome, hip flexor tightness, and referred pain patterns that mimic bursitis or nerve impingement.

Work the knee and lower leg — targeting quadriceps, hamstrings, gastrocnemius, soleus, and tibialis — essential for runners, athletes, and patients with chronic knee or ankle pain.

Address the foot — with precise needling for plantar fasciitis, heel pain, and toe flexor overuse — conditions frequently undertreated in standard acupuncture protocols.

Complete your full-body trigger point framework — integrating lower body release with the upper body work from Foundations 1 & II for comprehensive, systematic treatment planning.

Prerequisite: Foundations 1 and II, or equivalent clinical experience with trigger point acupuncture.
